Angelie Torne

Angelie, a strategic business growth executive, brings extensive international experience with a proven record of driving organic growth, forging global partnerships, leading mergers and acquisitions, and delivering results across diverse markets.

She is an Executive Producer and Managing Partner at Palm Pictures, an award-winning, impact-driven motion pictures company. She also serves as a Non-Executive Director and Board Member at Platinum, a strategic management consulting firm, with responsibility for policy direction, executive oversight, governance, and safeguarding stakeholder interests.

Previously, Angelie was a Director for a division of Informa Plc, a FTSE 100 events and information corporation, where she held senior leadership responsibility for international growth strategies across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, Australasia, and the Indian subcontinent, driving sustainable expansion and strengthening global market position.

With a background in investment banking and derivatives at ABN Amro and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Angelie developed strong acumen in finance, compliance, risk management, and strategic investment planning, including mergers and acquisitions.

She has undertaken advanced business studies at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School and the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School. She most recently completed Film Finance at the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds a professional certification in corporate governance.

Beyond her corporate achievements, she is a dedicated humanitarian who has supported numerous organisations, including UNICEF, Cambridge Cleantech, and Oxfordshire Greentech, to advance children’s rights and environmental sustainability.
